Thanksgiving in Port Hardy

port-hardy

Four hours north of any reasonable metropolis, we sat in a small house not too far from the water eating food and playing games. I suppose it was more like my summers in Eagle Lake than I thought it would be, right down the licorice and crokinole. It was a nice change of pace and I thoroughly appreciate the opportunity, but it made me miss the old cottage more than I expected it would.
